| In 1829 the 2nd Methodist Episcopal Society of the Town of Galen was established in Lock Berlin. The frame building was built in 1838 by Nathan B. Gilbert (who also built churches in Fairville & Junius). It was dedicated by throwing a pitcher of water off the steeple. The United Methodist Church closed in 2006 and the building is now owned by the Fellowship of Faith Church. | |||||
