This marker was installed by Marion members of the Colonel William Prescott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1930. This marker was moved to the Marion Town Park on September 9, 2023. It was replaced in its original location by the bank on Main St. by a marker purchased by the Wayne County Board of Supervisors to celebrate the Bicentennial of Wayne County in 2023. | |||||
