Description:
"The two story frame house with clapboard siding on the second floor which flares over the metal shingle siding on the first floor. The foundation is composed of rough faced cut red sandstone. The residence has an essentially hipped roof with gabled projections to the front and sides with gables situated above the roof slope. The side gables have metal shingles infill while the front gable has 'sunburst type' panels surrounding paired windows. East side has a shallow first story bay; some stained glass. The chimney near the ridge has cobbled masonry; either brick or stone; the porch projecting at the southeast corner has metal shingle moldings; one becoming a horseshoe form at the steps, with 'sunburst' pediment above. The house was probably constructed in the last quarter of the 19th century by E.A.P.
