This home was rumored to be on the Underground Railroad. According to local lore the runaways were concealed in a cupboard on the side of the fireplace. According to a survey done by Dorothy Wells Pease, it was the home on the ancestors of Lafayette Congdone, president of the Lima Seminary. |
