| A historical home currently owned by Ms. Allyn Perry of Lyons, NY, was built in 1855. It is said to be the 1st Canal Store operated by Horace Wescott as a Grocery and Chandlery. It supplied boats passing through lock 56 (Poorhouse Lock) with their traveling needs. Ms. Perry, often is seen waving as boaters pass by. | |||||
