A Gregor stones, Photo by Bavis 10-18-21

Historic narrative:
One of those buried in this cemetery along the northern edge and at a distance from the rest is Abram Gregor, a black man who served in the Civil War as a substitute for a member of the Gould family. The photo included here shows the old stone and a 2021 replacement stone secured by the Sons of Union Veterans.
