Organized in 1816, the congregation built a brick church a quarter mile south of the village in 1828 for $2000. Called the Brick meeting house, it was demolished 1859 and the bricks used in new building which was completed in 1866. In 1913 a new sanctuary was built and new stained glass windows were installed. |
